WordPress by default will let Ping-o-matic know you have updated posts and then ping a few other services.
A ‘Ping’ is a basic program that lets you verify that a particular Internet address exists and can accept requests. The verb ping in the Blog world means the act of notifying a service you have updated content.

Found this video showcasing Google Earth and Denver at coloradoblogging.com.
It’s pretty cool, shows our home (well mine) and I thought it was fun to play around with Google Earth again, it’s addictive.

Update your copyright notice. WordPress users, depending on your theme – your copyright may be echoed and you don’t need to worry. If it’s not and it’s hard-coded in your footer then fix it in your theme’s ‘footer.php’ file. You can do this in your WordPress Dashboard if permissions were set properly by your web team. Wow, I really do go a while without writing about SEO. So while I mostly throw out tips and toys I need to remind myself (you?) that I run a Reputation Management network from Denver and I’m pretty much the only real SEO in Denver.
Though there are some others with “SEO packages” they really aren’t at a level that could be called professional. Yes, they do come up in the SERPS for ONE OR TWO phrases (good going guys). I think I need to put this site back on top again.

I like to make it easy for my readers to notice instantly if I have a new post upon visiting my blogs. Using avatars is a way. I like to make them somewhat attention grabbing. Immediately readers see there’s something new.

It’s easy, it’s legal and it’s safe. STOP paying Apple to make custom ringtones for your iPhone! If you think iTunes is the only way beside trying to hack your half-grand toy then think again. iTunes makes you PAY, hacking can “brick” it – but a quiet release of Garage Band will do it for you.
