I can’t sum it up as well as Chris. Check his hilarious article and observations about Lamborghini’s website.

I’m tired of fish, plants and pretty landscapes. Are you? You may have managed to neuter yourself and get an iPhone. I mentioned before in iPhone with testosterone where to get a great iPhone sleeve that isn’t clear or pink, that’s a start.
As far as the wallpaper that comes with [...]
Morgan Carey is one of the grandfathers of SEO. Anyone in this industry knows the name and the accomplishments. So I was pretty surprised to find a recommendation from him on his seo-guy.com home page.
Yes, I’m honored to be listed with Rand Fishkin and Jim Boykin on one of Morgan Carey’s websites.
I had [...]
I just disturbed myself. God I love her, but I’m a little confused. A long friend of mine has just gotten a new puppy, I guess all puppies are new. This puppy now has a MySpace profile. I understand there are many reasons to create numerous profiles, but I know it’s [...]
Thanks to a user of the iPhone template, a glitch in the newest safari that throws some bugs into the detection script.
First off – credit to who deserves it. Chris Bailey started BoatingBay.com in 2006 and was also the first boat classifieds on the iPhone – the mobile version is pretty nice. Check [...]
As a gift to readers (some have noticed) I have the infamous “no-follow” tag removed from comment links to reward those that comment. My viewers are a shy bunch for they rarely comment. My logs show that I’m pushin’ close to 0% – then I compare that to the actual email I [...]
Wow, I really do go a while without writing about SEO. So while I mostly throw out tips and toys I need to remind myself (you?) that I run a Reputation Management network from Denver and I’m pretty much the only real SEO in Denver.
Though there are some others with “SEO packages” they really [...]
Going back to what I do, I’m an SEO here in Denver. I was asked today about my little tagline I use in email: “A Denver SEO That Shoots Straight” I used to have and here it is. It’s a play on words. In my former life I was an officer. [...]
Last week while scanning logs for this blog I saw something odd, a large number of hits for search terms relating to “Denver” and “black helicopters”.
I had no idea that military exercises were taking place over downtown Denver in preparation for the DNC convention at the time but the people let me know via my [...]
Looking over my logs I’ve found the top dozen most popular articles I’ve posted (ratio of views/day) and have listed them below. Together they really do cover the purpose of this blog, so I guess I’m happy.
Greg Boser Dispatches The Black Helicopters – Complaints from a realtor that blames an SEO for his trouble.

Our brains are composed of millions of individual neurons which are not connected, but do have simple input/output devices, a basic firing mechanism allowing a neuron to connect with another, or a network of neurons. With this architecture we create, grow, interact, organize and participate in the world around us.
The web is composed of [...]
Yes, I say Christmas.
Here are my Christmas gift recommendations this year. They span several genres and I wouldn’t recommend them if I weren’t a happy customer myself.
Feet Pajamas! No matter how macho you are, you know you want them. It’s 3 degrees as I write this and yes, I’m wearing flannel feet pajamas.
Apple MacBook – [...]
I can’t help it, I just feel the need to link to Chicago Northwest Suburbs Real Estate. Silly active rain people.
Sounds like ball-phobia to me.
I think it’s smart. Lamborghini sells to titans of industry–not docs or lawyers. People who purchase them are typically rich dudes, masters of their niche. The bull is a force, a machine, a challange. Lamborghini owners like the “challenge” that the bull signifies.
Would it be more “straight” and less gay to have a frog as the logo. How about a bird. We all know how hard it is to harness birds–and there are no balls to make anyone uncomfortable.
I completely see both points. Though, Patrick, your response is well thought out, I have to say Chris is just freakin’ funny.
I also like the question, “Ready to ride.”
Every good salesman who sells widgets knows it’s always good to get the customer to HOLD the object. It creates a sense of already owning it. For a WEBSITE, clicking on YES makes one feel committed to the object–that’s how humans work. It’s like thousands of years of wisdom wrapped up at the wedding moment when a bride says, “I do.”
You’re committed. Who’s going to click on NO??!! Anyone who goes to the site is going to click on YES. It’s actually brilliant. It forces everyone to say “I do.”
Why do I care about this….
Hey Knox, I found your blog while searching for Twitter news. It took me to a post you made last year. Just wanted to say that I spent the last 20 minutes reading your blog and have really enjoyed it.
And as Lamborghini goes, they know who thier market is and do a great job of advertising to it.
Thanks for sharing that ad, it was hilarious!
