I can’t sum it up as well as Chris. Check his hilarious article and observations about Lamborghini’s website.

Ok ok ok. Not what you’d think but I had a good time, so it’s worth it. Last night I sent a tweet saying “Hey, meet us for a drink and I’ll talk about ya” and a couple showed up. A friend named Jim who’s a Calgary real estate agent showed his desire too, but the drive wouldn’t allow it.
Honestly, if you haven’t had a drink with Jaz then you haven’t lived. Mike, you understand.
Pat runs a gooming trailer business and was nice enough to play along and another, Narrance, who doesn’t have a site but watched twitter also joined. Not bad, that kept us out later than usualy. Anywhay, I may just make a habit of this. So next Friday take me up on it – could be fun.
I’m announcing, officially, that Chris is now freelancing. For those that don’t know who I’m talking about, Chris is the talent behind any of the images I’ve used that were actually any good.
I know I’m not an artist and Chris has been the guy that works on client sites for me. He’s a good guy and thinks he’ll do well on his own (I know he will) so I’d like to let everyone know that he’s a free Read the rest of this entry »
Jaz showed me MyHeritage where she had her photo scanned and compared to celebrities. She’s pretty, so the results would be too, that makes sense.
Hers came back with a pattern that mixes Josie Maran, Kate Beckinsale, Fiona Xie, Brooke Burns and Kristin Davis. Not bad.
Then I did mine…. now I have a complex, or two, or three….

Nikola Tesla gave us AC power transmission, the coil transformer, wireless communication and hundreds of other inventions.
Tesla was not only an inventor and electrical engineer but was also a great visual thinker. He could “see” an entire system in his head and often didn’t test his ideas in a lab. If he tested them [...]
I met a colleague at Starbucks this morning and he had a copy of “How to Win Sales & Influence Spiders” by Catherine (Cat) Seda with him.
Check it out over there —->
Considering I was recently bantering with her on another blog a few days ago about the differences between SEO and “Web Marketing”, I had [...]
Just have to say how nice it is to FINALLY have a client that is interested in their web presence as I am. Too often (especially the last 6 months for me) I find people who has a great idea. They want is marketed to the moon and back. We meet, we [...]
I’ve written about the Fight Club and wanted to show that it’s a real thing. I don’t write about SEO on this blog as often as expected and that was for a reason.
Instead of giving everything away to the world I’m keeping it underground and
Morgan Carey is one of the grandfathers of SEO. Anyone in this industry knows the name and the accomplishments. So I was pretty surprised to find a recommendation from him on his seo-guy.com home page.
Yes, I’m honored to be listed with Rand Fishkin and Jim Boykin on one of Morgan Carey’s websites.
Yes, you can detect when an iPhone or iPod Touch is browsing your website, and direct them to an iPhone friendly version.
Just insert the following code in the header of your page and amend it to address your target (iPhone version) location.
UPDATED – As of iPhone Safari 2, the script isn’t accurate. The new [...]
Every Apple mac user with a Mighty Mouse has had the eventual problem where their ball stopped scrolling vertically. There are hundreds of videos and papers on how to properly disassemble your mouse (break it) and you have the option to go buy a new one.
Before you do any of that just
I was emailed today and notified I was mentioned on c|net. Cool – my template for iPhone web apps was the story.
Executive Editor, Tom Merritt at c|net networks says that I “have a reputation”, have “great friendly hacker tools” and that I’ve “been around a while”.
I’m happy to have been featured for the kudos [...]
Most of you know I’m a former officer, so you’d understand why this project is not just “up my alley” but also fun.
Project overview, it’s called CopsAlive.com – working with the Law Enforcement Survival Institute it’s a site where officers can visit and participate in exploring the options available for their future. This [...]
I had no idea that MySpace presents Amber Alerts. I logged into my Denver Profile this morning and it showed me this. It gives a good amount of info. Though MySpace is gimmicky and abused, this is a nice service.
Regardless, take in the Alert.
I know, been a while – that’s a bad thing according to the blogging Gods. Worse than that is saying “sorry, been a while…” so instead of the apology I’ll just inform.
Yes, Ive been working but I have a job that extends beyond writing about SEO and iPhones, I promise.
FINALLY, we have Knox Hosting [...]
Thanks to a Starbuck buddy for holding my 5 minutes of effort for a great pic. Telling the truth is a powerful thing. (also an ultimate defense to frivolous claims)
