Denver SEO Knox – Reputation Management, SEO, iPhones & Stuff

First of all, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!  I was lucky to enjoy two dinners today, one with my family and another with my sidekick and friends.

Second, I know I’ve talked about Fight Club (and that’s a bad thing).  So, the day before launch I’d like to thank some friends that helped tune it a bit, find some glitches and so forth.

Rob in Tampa was the first in and noticed some things that I was just to close to the build to see for myself.  Oh, he also found the oh so important Twitter field wasn’t updating!  That was a site killer:)

Kevin in Bethesda spent many hours on it testing various functions and security.  Thanks to both of you for your help!  Now, this is the last time I will break the ol’ first rule and talk abut it and just mention that invite letters will be sent over the weekend.

I do apologize for the tease (kinda) it went longer than planned for I have a few other projects in progress, as well as dealing with a Brand Identity Thief.  More on that soon as well.

So, the Turkey was great (both times) and I took a day from the Internet to spend with my family and close fiends.  A great day to say the least.  I hope everyone had a chance to hug thier dog and take a walk for the 3D world has much to offer!

  • Noticing The Greatest Real Estate Agent in the World

    February - 26 - 2008

I’m watching the Greatest Real Estate Agent in the World Contest and what’s happening is what all web property owners need to learn.
The rich get richer. But new wealth can be made.
The “natural” creation of “rank” theoretically is based partly on Democracy. Links to a site from another are votes, right? The [...]

  • Denver Notice – MySpace Amber Alerts

    October - 20 - 2008

I had no idea that MySpace presents Amber Alerts.  I logged into my Denver Profile this morning and it showed me this.  It gives a good amount of info.  Though MySpace is gimmicky and abused, this is a nice service.

    Regardless, take in the Alert.

  • Web Death Default -No SEO Can Save You

    December - 1 - 2006

With so many people using the Internet today from shopping to banking, research to just killing time at their hourly 8-5 cubicle job in that big glass building you G.E.D. types have, we are all inundated with new website designs and layouts.
Just as the term “banner blindness” was coined because web page elements that are [...]

  • Knox Favorite 2007 Web Flicks

    January - 8 - 2008

Ok, my plate is pretty full so this isn’t a grand post. Below is a snapshot of my current desktop – you see I’m pretty busy.

Even with Mac OSX’s great filing system you can still easily fill your desk (and month) with work. Instead of meat, I’ll give a splash of entertainment tonight.
    Looking [...]

  • Denver SEO, iPhones and Randomness

    May - 4 - 2008

It’s time. It needs to happen. This site is a mess, unfocused and confusing – I know. It was fun, allowed me to play and explore without hurting clients. I never expected some of what has happened and have for a time been reluctant to change things. The size of this blog, all the sub-wordpress [...]

  • Your Image & Your Website

    December - 16 - 2006

Businesses, institutions and governments all use the same tools and broadcast media – the buildings, logos, websites, brochures, press releases and speeches – all to convey their “image”, their “brand”.
Individually and collectively the difficulty begins when we cross the line of believability – when that image we have for these businesses and individuals are not [...]

  • Cheating Online Bites You Back

    March - 23 - 2007

Today I’ll talk about email, privacy and the gut dropping feeling people get when they get “caught” by their spouses.
A woman contacted me freaking out because her husband “found” some personal email of hers. The messages were harmless out of context, but did bring things into a fair perspective when coupled with behavior.
    She called [...]

  • Mac Users Suffer From “Perceived Dirty Hands Syndrome”

    May - 17 - 2007

Macs are pretty… out of the box. All Mac users suffer from “perceived dirty hands syndrome”. We can be seen pulling shirt cuffs over our fists to shine our laptops before turning them around for someone else to use.
I knew I wasn’t alone. The problem is not your hands – it’s the plastics [...]

  • SEO Speaker

    December - 11 - 2008

I wrote about an seo fraud in Denver several months back.  I was thinking about placing a video there about the seo speaker that was selling his inept seo services on that post admitting to a fraud.
I’m writing this post to place another web property out there to use if this professional speaker may defraud [...]

  • Graywolf Blog Hacked – Shared Feeling Of Rape

    January - 17 - 2007

I feel bad for Graywolf being hacked. He was on the hitlist of a proclaimed white hat seo. After this happened to me I understand the “icky feeling” of being violated.
You gave me the notice I needed to update my stuff, thanks for that, at least.
Before he even realized it had happened to him, [...]

I can’t sum it up as well as Chris.  Check his hilarious article and observations about Lamborghini’s website.
