Denver SEO Knox – Reputation Management, SEO, iPhones & Stuff

Last week while scanning logs for this blog I saw something odd, a large number of hits for search terms relating to “Denver” and “black helicopters”.

I had no idea that military exercises were taking place over downtown Denver in preparation for the DNC convention at the time but the people let me know via my logs, kinda cool.

Later in the week it was in the local news, youtube was abuzz and my blog kept getting hit. The reason I was in the serps was due to an old real estate seo article using “black helicopters” as a metaphor.

Some in Denver were scared and some were spouting conspiracy theories. The scene was a little spooky considering the squadron of BlackHawks hovering over many skyscrapers dropping SEALS on ropes – I thought it was kinda cool. Denver received 50 million federal dollars for security, did they NOT think this would include security beyond obama-chanting bloggers, naggers and pie-throwers?

I hopped on my oh-so-macho scooter and headed downtown. (the scooter was to avoid parking issues, I’m not a “green” guy;) Some are saying it was practice for when martial law gets implemented. Talking heads on TV and local authorities are saying they need to be “prepared for the worst at the convention”.

That last part is my problem. The WORST? The “worst” would be a nuke in Denver, but does anyone REALLY think the bad guys would want to nuke the Democrats? Not only would that kill the guy they want elected but it would galvanize the doped, illiterate, “change” dupes and other sheeple into actual thinkers and possibly patriots – they may want to hit back – hence becoming smarter, maybe even republicans.

But here’s the truth. The security is needed because of groups THAT party actually put together. Here’s a flyer being distributed in our city: “Recreate ‘68″. Nice. Theses people are the product of your own propaganda, now they threaten YOUR security – ironic, sad.

Re-create 68 has promised they will force law enforcement to violence, rivaling the bloodshed of the 1968 DNC. We’ll see if the their anti-war group does this and gets the stiff end of the law to secure Denver AND the DNC how it will work out. It will be entertaining to see how the spin when the Democrats who spout free speech stifle dissent when THEY are threatened – kinda like their other policies. Will they speed away in Priuses or SUV’s with V-8’s?

Back to the paranoia. Some people link this event with their previous paranoid stories about Denver, like the “wall” at our airport (DIA).

Well, obviously the end of the word is coming, there’s a mural at our airport and now we have security in our city. RUN FOR THE HILLS! Like the “wall”, they could have read about the news instead of leaping to their wine-gossiping and tremble. Ironic though, you who fear the “wall” and the choppers are gung-ho on corralling everyone onto trains. if that’s confusing, add History to your reading assignment.

  5. Amazing to see how someone reads your likely politics by what you wrote. Well you kind of did telegraph it a little.

I have to say I am not a big fan of Obama, but the thought of voting Republican after what self serving Prez Bush has done, is more than a little sickening though.

Help, where is the credible 3rd choice.

  6. Knox says:

    Bush isn’t running.

  7. Patrick says:

    3rd party???? I’m still looking for a 2nd party.

  8. Knox says:

I’m still looking for obama’s resume.

  9. boy it has been a while, you must be really busy as of late. Hope all is well and you come back with more great blog posts.

  • SEO As Afterthought Can Kill Your Business

    November - 20 - 2006

I can understand the thought process. A company holds a meeting and it’s decided that they want/need a website. They shop around, gather bids and ultimately write a huge check to some firm or somebody for a state-of-the-art website with so many bells and whistles that it would make Cpt. Kirk envious. [...]
