A Bust Gut & Clean Colon

On May - 13 - 2008

This morning started light. I blog, so I also read blogs. Sometime I cross a headline that makes my dog wonder what’s wrong with me as his ears perk up while I spontaneously bust out laughing.

Two of them here. First was found by David Naylor and the headline is Great tits cope well with warming. Okay kinda boyish but it’s on the BBC.

Second, I have to give credit to this guy. Sure, he’s a Denver SEO competitor but I can’t begrudge him for linking to a client – but sometime it’s hard to with a straight face. Zack at Katz Web Design of Denver has an article called ” Denver SEO for colon cleansing…a “sweet” surprise!”.

A quick puke.

As I work and throw out some posts to keep this puppy live and quietly reorganize my company I realized today that Andrew Hillman of Boston MA was called out. Read the rest of this entry »

It’s time. It needs to happen. This site is a mess, unfocused and confusing – I know. It was fun, allowed me to play and explore without hurting clients. I never expected some of what has happened and have for a time been reluctant to change things. The size of this blog, all the sub-wordpress installations and toys has made it a bear of a task to change.

But, I am. Over the next month this site is splitting up into a few new domains. Yes – My blog will survive. Read the rest of this entry »

Well, I was wrong. When the contest began I threw out an article with a hottie real estate agent and she didn’t win – but I think she’s capable of finding employment. Eric Blackwell is at the top of the serp – congratulations Eric. Maybe after review another contestant will take the prize but Eric maintained the top for most of the contest term. • Nothing To Do With Denver SEO

    April - 30 - 2009

.. but it’s beautiful.  And, it works in the snow.

I’ve always been a fan of American muscle and that’s

  • The Home Page Dilemma

    December - 17 - 2006

Ever notice that websites’ most relevant information is often times a click or two away from the home page? There’s a contact page, an about page, services or product page, etc.
After all these supporting sub-pages are written, businesses seem to be scratching their heads.

  • SEO As Afterthought Can Kill Your Business

    November - 20 - 2006

I can understand the thought process. A company holds a meeting and it’s decided that they want/need a website. They shop around, gather bids and ultimately write a huge check to some firm or somebody for a state-of-the-art website with so many bells and whistles that it would make Cpt. Kirk envious. [...]

  • Chris, Denver Graphic Dude – Going Solo

    January - 21 - 2009

I’m announcing, officially, that Chris is now freelancing. For those that don’t know who I’m talking about, Chris is the talent behind any of the images I’ve used that were actually any good.
I know I’m not an artist and Chris has been the guy that works on client sites for me.  He’s a good [...]

  • Graywolf Blog Hacked – Shared Feeling Of Rape

    January - 17 - 2007

I feel bad for Graywolf being hacked. He was on the hitlist of a proclaimed white hat seo. After this happened to me I understand the “icky feeling” of being violated.
You gave me the notice I needed to update my stuff, thanks for that, at least.

  • Cheating Online Bites You Back

    March - 23 - 2007

Today I’ll talk about email, privacy and the gut dropping feeling people get when they get “caught” by their spouses.
A woman contacted me freaking out because her husband “found” some personal email of hers. The messages were harmless out of context, but did bring things into a fair perspective when coupled with behavior.

  • No Anchor Advantage

    July - 18 - 2007

As a gift to readers (some have noticed) I have the infamous “no-follow” tag removed from comment links to reward those that comment. My viewers are a shy bunch for they rarely comment. My logs show that I’m pushin’ close to 0% – then I compare that to the actual email I [...]

  • Jimmy Buffett – Success While Relaxing

    January - 16 - 2008

Jimmy has been motivating me lately (I really need my beach), thought I’d share a great 7 min clip “Far Side of The Word” – a classic song with a great video track.
Huh? You wanted an SEO article? There’s one below this one. Relax! Jimmy will help.

  • Denver SEO Shoots Straight

    October - 4 - 2007

Going back to what I do, I’m an SEO here in Denver. I was asked today about my little tagline I use in email: “A Denver SEO That Shoots Straight” I used to have and here it is. It’s a play on words. In my former life I was an officer. [...]

  • Without Sniffin’

    October - 17 - 2006

I just disturbed myself. God I love her, but I’m a little confused. A long friend of mine has just gotten a new puppy, I guess all puppies are new. This puppy now has a MySpace profile. I understand there are many reasons to create numerous profiles, but I know it’s [...]

  • Chicago Northwest Suburbs Real Estate

    March - 7 - 2009

I can’t help it, I just feel the need to link to Chicago Northwest Suburbs Real Estate.  Silly active rain people.

  • Knox Christmas Gift Suggestions

    December - 15 - 2008

    Yes, I say Christmas.
Here are my Christmas gift recommendations this year.  They span several genres and I wouldn’t recommend them if I weren’t a happy customer myself.
Feet Pajamas! No matter how macho you are, you know you want them.  It’s 3 degrees as I write this and yes, I’m wearing flannel feet pajamas.
    Apple MacBook – [...]
