Knoxing – App Development, SEO, iPhones & Stuff

Every Apple mac user with a Mighty Mouse has had the eventual problem where their ball stopped scrolling vertically. There are hundreds of videos and papers on how to properly disassemble your mouse (break it) and you have the option to go buy a new one.

Before you do any of that just do what this guy shows you – it works, and you’ll feel so much smarter… in a dumb way.

Ok, those that have not had the issue are saying “that’s a stupid post” – but those with it are banging theirs head on the desk.

  • I Promise I’m Working!

    March - 27 - 2008

I know, been a while – that’s a bad thing according to the blogging Gods. Worse than that is saying “sorry, been a while…” so instead of the apology I’ll just inform. Yes, Ive been working but I have a job that extends beyond writing about SEO and iPhones, I promise. FINALLY, we have Knox [...]

  • Google Indents – Doubles Are Good!

    December - 12 - 2007

The coveted “double listing” or “indents” on a Google SERP is not an accident or just plain luck. Site architecture and link strategies working in concert is what will reward you with a double listing. More importantly it will generate more visits to your site – that means more money! But why stop there? Niche [...]

  • Environmentalists Are Killing Trees

    July - 2 - 2009

Environmentalists are realizing now that with their communist leaders printing money at record paces that our nation will be be completely devoid of trees by the year 2012. It would be ironic if it weren’t so sad. But there’s a solution that I’m sure was the the idea of some coastal pseudo intellectual who thought [...]

  • Flip Mino HD, YouTube, Encoding Tutorial

    December - 30 - 2008

Rich media such as as video on a website is something we all want, don’t you?  But quality equipment usually doesn’t lend itself to an amateur. The Flip Mino HD is most likely the easiest to use HD camcorder out there.  It’s smaller than my iPhone, captures great HD video and high quality sound.  It’s [...]

  • Denver Design, Video, Music & Photography

    August - 22 - 2009

Studiomae.com is a small design company in South Denver that is truly unique.  I met these people at a coffee shop and at first glance I thought they were competitors.  After some talking and meeting the principals I found that we are very different. Media with a conscience is how they describe their company.  Jeremy [...]

  • New Office Attitudes for 2007

    January - 3 - 2007

I’ve been told I’m a little sarcastic in my articles – that’s not sarcasm, but confidence. Ok, sarcasm too. So, to keep things light I’m ordering some new office posters. We’ve all seen those things – the rowboats visually presenting a “teamwork” metaphor and other silly things to “motivate” the 8-5 corporate soldiers. These posters [...]

  • PageRankPimp, Splogger – Bites The Dust

    March - 11 - 2008

Frustrated with the same scraper splog for a while, pagerankpimp.com (many of you have noticed this in your WordPress dashboard) – I’m happy to see they have apparently been nuked. Hopefully the efforts I’ve put forth finding others scraped by them have resulted in their AdSense account being banned; hence their removing the splog, finally. [...]

Eric Blackwell is at the top of the serp – congratulations Eric. Maybe after review another contestant will take the prize but Eric [...]

  • Denver Web Design – Knox Split Part 2

    September - 7 - 2008

Another update about this site getting split up a little. Today “knoxing.com” is up – it’s totally unrefined but at least it’s there now.  It’s the Denver Web Design part of the Knox Solutions Co-op. Ok – it’s Web Design, SEO, iPhones and my rants.  I’m getting there. Eventually, all things “EBA” will be “Knox”.  [...]

  • New Ideas Stifled In Business

    December - 18 - 2006

Most businesses love “best practices” and manuals. These written standards are orderly, rational and logical. They have been tested and proven. They’re great because they give a team the sense that everyone is “on board”. In the end – they are “justifiers”, a book to blame when a goal isn’t realized, a safety net for [...]
