Knoxing – App Development, SEO, iPhones & Stuff

I was emailed today and notified I was mentioned on c|net. Cool – my template for iPhone web apps was the story.

Executive Editor, Tom Merritt at c|net networks says that I “have a reputation”, have “great friendly hacker tools” and that I’ve “been around a while”.

I’m happy to have been featured for the kudos (and traffic) but more than that – I’m happy to have provided something useful to users.

Thanks c|net, Tom and thank you users! Check out c|net for more cool vids on technology, tips, tricks and gadget reviews.

Now I wonder what that “reputation” comment was about.

  • Sarasota Association of Realtors = Pirates

    October - 23 - 2008

Piracy.  Plain and simple. Pirates Helen Sosso (Sarasota Association of Realtors president) and Kathy Roberts (SAR CEO) decided they wanted the online authority of another website – a site owned by Marc Rasmussen. After years of taking money and fees from REALTORS the Sarasota Association of Realtors decided they wanted to rank better in search [...]

  • Dictating SEO Strategy To Your SEO – BAD Idea

    December - 27 - 2006

Nikola Tesla gave us AC power transmission, the coil transformer, wireless communication and hundreds of other inventions. Tesla was not only an inventor and electrical engineer but was also a great visual thinker. He could “see” an entire system in his head and often didn’t test his ideas in a lab. If he tested them [...]

  • Are You An Angry Poster?

    December - 29 - 2006

We’ve all done it (I do it too often) but there’s a place for it. Don’t post when you’re angry. Forums are great places for “heated exchanges” (it actually brings in traffic) but in general, an angry post is usually something the author regrets. A personal blog is a place where you can be you, [...]

  • Mac Users Suffer From “Perceived Dirty Hands Syndrome”

    May - 17 - 2007

Macs are pretty… out of the box. All Mac users suffer from “perceived dirty hands syndrome”. We can be seen pulling shirt cuffs over our fists to shine our laptops before turning them around for someone else to use. I knew I wasn’t alone. The problem is not your hands – it’s the plastics used [...]

  • Environmentalists Are Killing Trees

    July - 2 - 2009

Environmentalists are realizing now that with their communist leaders printing money at record paces that our nation will be be completely devoid of trees by the year 2012. It would be ironic if it weren’t so sad. But there’s a solution that I’m sure was the the idea of some coastal pseudo intellectual who thought [...]

  • Connectivity Instigates Creativity, Creation?

    December - 30 - 2006

Our brains are composed of millions of individual neurons which are not connected, but do have simple input/output devices, a basic firing mechanism allowing a neuron to connect with another, or a network of neurons. With this architecture we create, grow, interact, organize and participate in the world around us. The web is composed of [...]

I had no idea that MySpace presents Amber Alerts.  I logged into my Denver Profile this morning and it showed me this.  It gives a good amount of info.  Though MySpace is gimmicky and abused, this is a nice service. Regardless, take in the Alert.
